When things fall into place you just know. The balance between work, commitments and family is just right. It hasn’t felt like this for a long time. It’s a damn good spot to be.
Words are being written. New work contracts are being finalised. Holidays are getting closer. Even some walls in our house are getting a lick of paint. It’s been awhile that we’ve even had the time to potter. Money’s still tight, but that’s become a new normal for us that we’ve grown to adapt. It’s forced us to be still.
The help we received from Nathalie from Easy Peasy Kids has helped mend our family – get it back on track. Our eldest girl has embraced her new room, she’s soaked up our “high praise”, all the techniques we’ve put in place have made for a more content, calm child and as a result we’ve done things as a family, that others take for granted. For the youngest two girls, this is wonderful. I’d even go as far to say that the past few weeks have been some of the best yet. The five of us are a fantastic team.
We are regrouping. We are happy. I’ve never appreciated the love of my little family as much as I do at this very moment.
And for that, I am truly grateful. Love is a grand thing.
What are you feeling grateful for? And is it okay to eat bread and butter pudding for dinner (I’m asking for a friend)?
