It may still be the last week of November, but our house has well and truly embraced Xmas. Big. Time.
The stockings are up.
The Xmas tree’s been decorated.
And we even visited Santa in the Magic Cave.
And he did something freaky to us.
Probably because he was pissed at this dodgy Santa photo.
And then after the kids went to bed, my husband and I, traveled back to 1987.
It was such a great idea at the time. Not so much the next day though.

I love Christmas, dodgy photos and all. That’s it, we’re putting up the tree this weekend!
No Santa photos for us this year. Children weren’t impressed when we spotted him at Marion!

Not yet. But I’m getting mighty close. No Santa visits or photos though, that ship has well & truly sailed here.
I think this may be the weekend we put up our brand new tree though!

Christmas hit our house on Wednesday. I tried to hold out until Dec 1 but cracked.
Yes, Christmas will come this Saturday for us, all decorations are going up. Why wait for 12 days before, what enjoyment is that. People are so much happier during the Christmas perios, so I say bring it on quickly! Nina

Cannot WAIT to get to tree up this year!! For the first time in years I’m getting a real tree (delivered to my door, thank you very much) – it is going to be a hard Christmas, but I am hoping that the smell of real pine and the creation of new traditions makes it one that stands out as “one I’d like to repeat”!! That Santa visit is looming as well… fingers crossed my boys don’t get charged with Santa-abuse! Lol

Me? I got up on the ladder and hauled the box with the tree out from the top of the wardrobe.
Now the box is standing in a corner of the lounge room, still sealed. The decorations are still in the top-of-wardrobe.

I’m busy decking those halls and ringing those bells too, baby! And I’m very suspicious of a good Santa photo – they are supposed to be a bit random, dontcha think? x
