As I told you in my last blog post I was thinking of getting new nails in a bid to help me break my nail biting habit. I was heading to Sydney for a much-needed, child-free getaway and to catch up with some other much-more amazing bloggers than me.
Thanks for all your super encouraging blog, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook messages. They made me smile and, in turn, I felt much more confident about my decision to give my nails a glamover! I am so glad I did.
So, here’s a before pic of them (note the dodgy out-of-focus photo).
And here’s an after photo.
And here’s my attempt to mix it with the cool Emo crowd.
I love my new nails. Have you done something to make yourself smile lately?
You are such an emo. 🙂
i LOVE black on short nails, it looks so much better on short nails than it ever does on long nails!!
i get my nails done once a month, it’s my treat to myself, nothing like nice nails 🙂
I’m so going to do the same thing… I don’t bite my nails but I’m definitely going to give them a glamover! 😀 Thanks for inspiration! xx
They look fabulous! Well done 🙂
Oh, you hand model, you.
I was tres jealous of the beautiful polish. I had such a disastrous attempt at painting mine for Sat. Thank God for dim lighting, huh?
Yes, read your blog. It always works for me!
Your nails look great! Although I don’t like the black colour…
I’ve been wanting to get mine done for years, but I keep putting it off because I’ve heard it’s painful when they file your real nails right back past the quick. Also because I don’t want something that looks artificial, like those big white square nails do.
Did you go gels or acrylics?
I love them.
Next time you go get them done/filled, ring me and we can get them done together and goss over the chemicals!
they look great! they look really natural. aren’t we women crazy? we dye our hair but tell the stylist to “make it look natural” and we get fake nails but like them to look natural!
I do love the nails though, as I just broke one off and then chewed it relentlessly I am thinking about some myself!
