Today is a sad day for David Beckham enthusiasts. David Beckham retires. I sob. Today, he officially played his last game of football. Rumours are he will be knighted before the end of the year. I didn’t think it was possible for him to get any hotter, but Sir David Beckham does have a nice ring to it.
I think this deserves a photo montage.
What a stellar career you’ve had. I can not wait to see more of you in the future.

I stand along side you and sob B 🙁 Used to have a poster of he & Michael Owen hanging above my bed when I lived in London. Oh it was the best time to be a fan of his, it was World Cup 2002 and the country teetered on the brink of despair that Golden Boot Beckham’s broken foot might stop him participating. Endless media coverage of him is alwasy welcome in my eyes 🙂
Overrated in the looks department and as a footballer. By the way, there’s nothing ‘hot’ about being knighted, as the monarchy is absolute scum. Your comments remind me why I detest Western society and it’s fucked up priorities.
Fair enough. I agree with much of your sentiment (except on the looks front). This is a very light, tongue in cheek post written at a time of much disillusionment about some of the crap things going on in Australia.
Fair enough, I just don’t appreciate the sheer flattery of this sewer rat. There’s hundreds of better looking and (more importantly) more talented footballers.
I’m not an Aussie, for clarification. I’m a 31 year old man from Britain who’s watched football since the 80s. So I can safely say I can judge his ability as a player.
You seem like a nice girl, it’s nothing personal against you – but this guy is a sewer rat who cares more about his image than anything, and who pretends to give to charity in what was a disgustingly orchestrated tax evasion stunt at PSG.
Even if you do find him attractive, don’t be shallow – there’s far more to life than looks. His actions are repellent and people need to stop believing the media love-in and wake up to that fact. Hopefully you grow to dislike him as I do.
Finally, he’s also one of the most stupid people on the planet. I doubt women who like intelligent men would go anywhere near him.
